Meet Jeannine Kuck
I LOVE being active!
Hiking, biking, running, snowboarding, skate skiing, weightlifting, Crossfit, etc!
After completing Massage School in 2004, I decided to open my own Massage and Personal Training Business, specializing in injury prevention and treatment. Incorporating many massage modalities into each massage session, Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, etc, allows me to tailor each session to the exact needs of the client on that particular day and time. Since muscular release without muscular strength and re-education will only get a person so far, I feel it is very important to include a well rounded training program to really address peoples pain. I strive to expand my knowledge of the human body, so I am always taking courses related to Corrective Exercise, Balance Training, and Pre/Post Rehab Exercise.
I married my High School Sweetheart in 2004 and had my daughter, Danika, the end of 2006. It was a crazy few years of changes and new beginnings!
In 2009 I started long distance cycling and in 2011 after rehabbing my body so I could run, I started competing in Triathlons as an age group athlete. I found that with my type A personality and my drive to always work hard and give my best, I excelled quickly, qualifying multiple times for the National Olympic Distance Age Group National Championships and establishing myself as one of the top performers in the Nation at the Olympic distance.
In 2012 I started doing Crossfit and loved the intense style of workout to go along with my other athletic goals. In order to better understand the Crossfit Philosophy, I earned my Crossfit Level 1 Certificate and became a coach at Diablo Crossfit in Pleasant Hill, CA. Here is where I continued to grow as a coach and in my passion for health and helping people build the necessary strength to perform activities of daily life.
In 2019 I was introduced to PEMF (Pulsed Electromagnetic Field) Therapy and fell in love with the benefits! I immediately purchased a machine and started offering this to my clients. It has been an amazing complement to all the other ways we need to and should be taking care of our body.
Through my own personal injuries and health issues, helping others with their injuries, and through educational courses, I continue to gain a better understanding of how much our daily life and stress impacts our overall health and wellbeing (emotionally and physically). It has been through this experience that I have realized how much help I can be to others in restoring their own health from a holistic approach. Through Coaching (corrective exercise, fitness & nutrition), Massage Therapy and PEMF sessions, I am able to help people find the balance and health they deserve.
Nobody needs to or should be living with Pain!
My ability to effectively communicate with people, my extensive knowledge of the human body and its movement, and my passion and dedication to helping people live their healthiest life possible, is what has shaped me into the health expert I am today!
Growing up on a ranch in Petaluma California, one of four kids, shaped the person I have become today. I joined 4-H when I was 9 and was immersed in animal “projects”, sewing and community service activities. Every day before and after school was dedicated to taking care of the animals and weekends were reserved for “ranch work”.
Although I have always been athletic, participating in dance classes as a kid and playing basketball and football at recess, I didn’t really find sports until High School. In High School I played Basketball for three years, ran track for one and found my love for weight lifting. I continued to be active in College, lifting weights, running, mountain biking, snowboarding and competing in my first Triathlon. I graduated in 2001 from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, with a B.S. in Kinesiology.
After College I spent a couple years working jobs that were unfulfilling, searching for the career where I could really make a difference in a person’s life. During this time I was also dealing with a bulging disc, with many flare ups that forced me to take a good look at self-care and basic functional movement patterns. My unfortunate injury made me realize how many people are in the same boat and they don't know what to do, so they just give up.
